Highlands Wind Symphony

Founded in 1998, the Highlands Wind Symphony is a volunteer community group of adult and student players. Under the co-direction of Glen Carter and Lori Reddering, these dedicated performers present a full concert bill three times a year ~ December, May and Summer. Some take place in the fabulous community venue, the Northern Lights Performing Arts Pavilion, located in the Haliburton Highlands Secondary School beside the locomotive in Haliburton Village. The summer performance is open-air, riverside in Minden, as part of the popular Music by the Gull series.
